When you drink this potion, you can cast the Animal Friendship spell (save DC 13) for 1 hour at will. Agitating this muddy liquid brings little bits into view: a fish scale, a hummingbird tongue, a cat claw, or a squirrel hair.

Even if you can cast Animal Friendship or other spells, you’ll always use the item’s DC of 13 when determining the spell save DC of Animal Friendship spells cast at will with this item.
While you can only cast Animal Friendship for an hour, the duration of Animal Friendship is 24 hours, and doesn’t end when the potion effect expires.
You always cast Animal Friendship at its lowest level when casting it at will, meaning you can’t get any up-cast bonuses when casting it with this potion.
Casting Animal Friendship at will doesn’t forgo its other needed conditions; you still need to provide the spell components including material, which requires a spell focus or a morsel of food. It doesn’t consume the morsel of food, though, making it a pretty easy bar to clear.
