When you drink this potion, you gain the effect of the Detect Thoughts spell (save DC 13). The potion's dense, purple liquid has an ovoid cloud of pink floating in it.

Reading minds is both a blessing and a curse; sure, you can probe into the surface thoughts and learn about an organization's secrets, but you’ll also surely hear some thoughts about you that can hit on some insecurities. When you need to mind read, this potion will do just fine!
Detect Thoughts isn’t blanket mind reading; you have to probe into minds to get their “deeper thoughts” which usually is where the good information you're looking for is at.
Detect Thoughts lasts a minute, and because this item doesn’t overrule that duration with a fixed duration of its own, the effects last one minute and don’t require concentration.
Beyond probing thoughts, this also acts as a creature detector, as it detects their presence without being able to see them should they be thinking and within 30 feet of you.
