Wondrous Item, legendary (requires attunement)
When you make an Intelligence (Arcana) check to control a Sphere of Annihilation while you are holding this talisman, you double your proficiency bonus on the check. In addition, when you start your turn with control over a Sphere of Annihilation, you can use an action to levitate it 10 feet plus a number of additional feet equal to 10 × your Intelligence modifier.

Are you really into Spheres of Annihilation? Get a Talisman to control it with more precision!
The DC to control a Sphere is 25; doubling your proficiency bonus does make it fairly likely you can hit this DC with consistency.
Without this item, a controller has to make a check every time they want to move the sphere, where this allows you to spend an action to move larger distances with no checks.
