Wand of Fireballs 5e
Wand, rare (requires attunement by a Spellcaster)
This wand has 7 charges. While holding it, you can use an action to expend 1 or more of its charges to cast the Fireball spell (save DC 15) from it. For 1 charge, you cast the 3rd-level version of the spell. You can increase the spell slot level by one for each additional charge you expend.
The wand regains 1d6 + 1 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the wand's last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the wand crumbles into ashes and is destroyed.

While it may be called a Wand of Fireballs, this item to me will always be the Wizard Bazooka. It's a battery of fireballs stitched together. What more could you want?
Wands are arcane focuses, and yew wands are druidic focuses, making them potential spell focuses for any class outside artificer, paladin, and cleric.
When casting spells with magic items, you don’t need to provide any spell components, but you do need to concentrate on the effects if they require concentration. Normally, you’d only be able to cast them at their lowest level, but this item allows you to up-cast them for more charges.
Generally, you want to avoid up-casting at this cost; 1 charge extra for 1d6 extra damage is a bad rate when that same charge can get you 8d6 more damage from an extra 3rd level cast.
You basically always want to bank one charge in this thing, else risk losing a massive pool of bonus damage.
