Potion, uncommon
The next time you see a creature within 10 minutes after drinking this philter, you become charmed by that creature for 1 hour. If the creature is of a species and gender you are normally attracted to, you regard it as your true love while you are charmed. This potion's rose-hued, effervescent liquid contains one easy-to-miss bubble shaped like a heart.

Ah, love potions. A classic item from fantasy dating back as long as people have been telling stories of witches and brews. This iteration has ample opportunity for it to go horribly wrong, which makes it all the more fun to use at the table.
Creatures that aren’t attracted to specific species or genders tend to be resilient against these potions. Some creatures, like Modrons and Undead, don’t feel attraction at all, making it useless against them.
So long as a creature can be attracted to a specific gender and species, it can fall in love with it. This easily results in hijinx when a creature ingests this and the first creature they see isn’t the poisoner’s intended target.
