If you’re looking for a +1 weapon with some flavor, may I recommend the Sword of Vengeance? This cursed item isn’t majorly detrimental to use and often is going to feel just like a regular +1 sword, but sometimes you’re forced to attack your assailant, and once attuned, it doesn’t want you fighting with some other weapon.

What specifically does it make you more lucky at? Avoiding death, and skills!

Ah, the Staff of the Python, one of my favorite villainous magic items to sell a serpentine druid. This thing is a beast of an uncommon magic item, and while managing your snake’s hit points is crucial to its long-term survival, doing so is absolutely worth the effort.

Want a pet snake, but one you don’t really have to feed or take care of? The Staff of the Adder is for you! 

Mechanically, you can spend a bonus action activating it or deactivating it. You can make weapon attacks using the Staff, which deals 1d6 piercing damage and forces a save or the target suffers 3d6 poison damage.

A cozy bedroom shoe meets active adventure-wear- Slippers of Spider Climbing are for the adventurer who wants the comfort of home without forgoing the magic of a 2nd level spell-like ability. 

Are you tired of zombies getting through your blade and into your chest? Feeling let down by the barrage of arrows breaking into your precious plate? Is your typical shield regularly getting splintered by a great axe? Then you’re in need of a +1, +2, or +3 shield! 

Some Magic Items are a simple upgrade; that is the case with the Sentinel Shield. If you’re a protector looking to keep watch over your party, this fits your character’s dreams perfectly.

The Robe of Useful Items speaks to the days of old dungeon crawls where a 10 ft. pole and ample access to rope was vital. This single cloak holds so many little nifty things, and is an easy magic item to seek out if you want to expand your inventory.

Water Breathing is a tool that’s typically at its best when it opens up new areas of exploration. Potions of Water Breathing come in as a way to engage in underwater combat and exploration out the gate for groups looking to hunt for sunken treasure or converse with a Merfolk society. 

There really are eleven different types of Potions of Resistance; one completely random option, and ten that provide resistance to a specific damage type. Random versions of it are going to be challenging to get any benefit out of, as the likelihood of rolling one that’s going to come up in a fight within that time is incredibly low.
