Want to command one of the four elements? Get one of the Rings of Elemental Command to not only dominate the elemental of your choice, but the potential to unlock sweet new spells! 

Djinni are outrageous allies; they come with a massive list of spells, a magical whirlwind ability, and triple multi attack. Getting a Ring for it will massively empower your party.

Want Etherealness? Want Plate? Plate Armor of Etherealness is a two-for-one deal! 

One doesn’t tend to “stumble” across a Moonblade- given the prerequisites for attunement is it being passed down to you as an elf or half-elf of a good alignmet and undergoing a rigorous ritual, I’d expect most tables couldn’t ever attune to it. If you do make an elf destined for this blade, it's a house of a weapon. 

Lucky is an infamous feat for wildly warping the game’s difficulty- a Luck Blade is a legendary weapon that I’d say compares close to it… but also has a few free 9th level spells in it that make it completely busted. It's definitely something any swordsman will want! 

An Iron Flask is about as close to a Pokeball as you can get in Dungeons & Dragons; you pick an extra-planar baddy, force it to make a save, and BAM! You’ve got yourself a summonable critter! It even becomes your friend!

If you’ve been playing the undead-smiting radiant bastion Paladin archetype, you couldn’t ask for a better legendary item than a Holy Avenger. 

Some people really hate giants- if you want to ruin a giant’s day, get a belt, gauntlets, and this hammer to absolutely thrash them. 

+3 armor is outrageous in its own right- it contributes to ACs in the mid 20s to low 30s. Efreeti Chain steps it up further with some magma-walking abilities and immunity to fire damage. Sweet stuff! 

Want a sword that doubles as a shield? The legendary defender offers you the modality to swap between to-hit bonus and AC, making it an appealing little gem! 

The Deck of Many Things is a robust item; there are roughly a billion abilities presented here that can completely uproot a campaign. If you want some chaos, one of these can do nothing, or it can irreversibly condemn a character to an eternity in an impossible-to-reach invincible prison. Draw carefully! 

If you’re doing some plane-traversing adventures but lack high-powered wizards to transport the party around, a Cubic Gate may be just the item to seek out! Gate and Plane Shift both are fantastic tools to have access to, and six planes are plenty to start working from. 

Greater Invisibility provides characters a ton of power- what if you had four hours of it per day? That’s what a Cloak of Invisibility offers!

Blackrazor is one of the most busted magic swords you can get your hands on. You definitely want to be the one landing the finishing blows to satiate this monstrosity, but if you can feed it, you’re going to feel invincible. 

Are you tired of taking damage from volleys of arrows and storms of swords? Some Armor of Invulnerability will keep you safe, regardless of the quantity of mundane weapons thrown at you! 

This may be the silliest item in D&D- I adore it. It's a giant barrel that turns into a crab mech with convoluted mechanics that usually aren’t going to power-up a character sheet. I still want one in every campaign I play in.

If any of you are still not convinced that the Wizard is WOTC’s favorite class, please consider that the Wizard has more magic items exclusively designed for them than all other classes combined. Many of these are magical spellbooks, and I’ll take the time to detail each of those, but even outside of those there are a ton of fantastic and exclusive magic items for Wizards.

The Warlock is a class of extremes. Maximum power on all your spells, the best damaging cantrip in the game, plenty of features and optional choices to enhance your strategy, and an itty bitty pool of spell slots that recharge on a short rest.

Polymorph is the kind of spell that wildly warps how the game can be played. Against enemies, it reduces their threat down to that of a tiny squirrel on a single failed save. On allies, it can transform them into massive bags of hit points that thrash enemies with dinosaur jaws! 

The Tome of Understanding, to me, is the self-help book we all need. By just reading it for a few hours a day over a week, we could permanently improve our mental health and clarity. If only this could really exist.
